There were two district girls soccer title games Thursday, and both had plenty of drama.
Class 3, District 14
Lee's Summit North 2, St. Teresa's Academy 1 - North sophomore Allie Stephenson scored both goals, including the game-winner midway through the first overtime. The win moved the Broncos into the state sectionals Tuesday against Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
Class 3, District 13
Sedalia Smith-Cotton 1, Lee's Summit West 0 - It took almost 100 minutes - along with a 30-minute lightning delay - but the Tigers were finally able to get over the hump in double overtime against the Titans.
