BASEBALL

Lee's Summit North 19, William Chrisman 0 - The Broncos were up 9-0 when they exploded for 10 runs in the fourth. Chad Shannon had a monster day going 4-for-4 with a pair of two-run homers.

Lee's Summit West 13, Ray-South 3 - Banks Born was strong on the mound as he took a no-hitter into the fifth inning.

Lee's Summit 9, Blue Springs 8 - The Tigers got behind 7-4 after two innings and turned to little-used Taylor Swagger in relief on the mound. The senior kept the Tigers in the game and allowed for heroics at the plate from junior Corbin Berkstresser who hit two homers, the biggest being a three-run shot to take the lead in the sixth.

Lee's Summit Community Christian 14, Barstow 6 - The Eagles knocked Barstow's top pitcher out of the game in the first inning with eight runs. They eventually led 13-0 before overcoming a few errors to preserve the win.

SOCCER

Lee's Summit West 10, North Kansas City 0 - The Titans controlled the game from the start and led 7-0 at the half. Allison Gochenour, Jaycie Johnson and Katie Davis all scored two goals.
