It was a bit of a slow night Wednesday, but here are your updated scores!
BASEBALL
Lee's Summit North 13, Winnetonka 4 - The Broncos blasted four home runs, including two off the bat of Brad Phillips and got a nice pitching performance from Dayton Fossey to improve to 7-2 on the season.
Liberty 11, Lee's Summit 5 - The Tigers stayed close early but the Blue Jays busted the game open with a six-run fifth to make it 11-0. The Tigers showed some life in the sixth with five runs.
TENNIS
Lee's Summit North 8, Lee's Summit 1 - The Broncos seemed to have hit their stride at this point in the season with their third straight match win. They dominated singles play by winning all six matches. Nathan Garrett, Warren Frevert, Michael Iseman, Andrew Lam, Brad Mims and Andrew Dominick all won matches.
Liberty 5, Lee's Summit West 4 - Liberty edged the Titans with a late win in doubles action. The two teams split the six singles matches. Nathan Mikle, Tucker Kane and Ryan Gleue all won in singles for West.
SOCCER
Lee's Summit North 7, St. Joseph Central 0 - Ashley Licata, Allie Stephenson and Casey Williamson each scored two goals for the Broncos and Brooke Burris added another as the Broncos stayed undefeated in conference at 4-0. They are 8-3 overall.
St. Teresa's Academy 4, Lee's Summit West 0 - The Titans suffered their first loss of the season to the seventh-ranked Stars, who were by far the best competition the Titans have seen this season. The Stars scored a pair of goals in each half and limited the amount of scoring chances for West. The Titans are now 7-1 overall.
